Custom LMS System

A custom Learning Management System (LMS) for corporate training clients, designed to enhance the learning experience for large-scale departmental employees. The system was built and designed by an off-shore team with Joomla and Flex, with an administration panel for dynamic content management.

Role: Technical consultant for compatibility and UI/UX design. Developed an enhanced user experience via front-end structural, layout, and asset modifications. Managed off-shore team for technical specifications. And programmed a bridge between the Flex player and Flash animated content.

2010

TokyoFive Website

Business website for the Tokyo Five clothing brand.  The website was built using Magento and flash components for the interactive style guide. The Coming Soon Splash Page was developed completely in flash and featured a fullscreen video to introduce the brand.  Initial elements for the page included eyes that followed the mouse cursor on the website, as well as dynamically animated sequence for the kanji on the page (trigged by rolling over the boxed glyph on the screen).  The animations were developed…

Cool Capitals Website

Website featuring tourist and editorial information on five european capitals, developed by a consortium of official travel boards for each nation.

Role: Flash developer and primary technical contact for flash content and programming. Conceptualized and programmed the fullscreen, random transitions as well as an interactive grid for multimedia display and deep-linking content. Built within a custom navigation template developed by BrinkMedia staff.

2008

Holland Tulip Girl

A viral mail campaign launched for Valentine’s Day, built to interactively select and send a bouquet of tulips to friends and family based on user selections.

Role: Lead flash developer working with 3D rendering artists to deliver an interactive and customizable experience; client communications and lead contact.

BRINK Mag Website

An internal social media project developed by BrinkMedia as a citizen journalism forum for progressive arts and politics.

Role: Programmer for specific flash modules on the site including the widescreen slideshow on the homepage, the shop browsing interface, and the DVD feature widget. Lead programmer for UX assessment and interface improvements for the proprietary dashboard administration panel.

PayPal Giving Widget

A general fundraising widget developed for viral distribution. This widget was created as a second phase of the MySpace IMPACT / PayPal Fundraising Widget, developed as a single application that dynamically responds to customized campaign interfaces designed by users within the accompanying authoring panel. PayPal Labs has undergone a lot of changes in the intervening years, including a launch of the new X.Commerce platform.  Through the transitions, the domain for the labs division at PayPal has changed multiple times.  Currently…

2007

PayPal Storefront Widget

A flash widget created by PayPal Labs to allow for viral distribution of a website storefront. Users can create and sell their products directly from the widget through PayPal.

Role: flash developer (not lead) for TypePad/General Storefront Badge and Authoring Tool. Programmed page flip transition and developed the sub component flip transition concept/structure. Client interaction, QA, debugging consultation.

MySpace IMPACT / PayPal Fundraising Widget

A co-branded fundraising badge for charity organizations and the 2008 presidential campaigns developed in conjunction by PayPal and MySpace. The widget featured several high profile national campaigns, including notable political candidates in the 2008 presidential race and an online holiday fundraiser featuring Stephen Colbert of Comedy Central’s The Colbert Nation.

Role: Sole flash developer, main client contact, flash widget interface and programming of external calls to paypal applications and myspace API

FERRIS Shelving Interactive Module

Interactive ordering module for custom shelving units, including design and layout features, as well as export and submission functionality.
